Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of reelshowster.com (the "Service"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has consented to your use.

2. Accounts

You may register with an email address and password, or sign in via Google or Apple OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and must not create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission. Notify us immediately at support@reelshowster.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Coins and Purchases

ReelShowster uses a virtual currency called Coins to unlock episode access. Coins can be purchased via Stripe using a payment card. New accounts receive a complimentary starting balance of coins. Coins can also be earned by watching rewarded ads served through Google Ad Manager.

All coin purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Coins have no cash value and may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside the Service. We reserve the right to adjust coin pricing and package availability at any time.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's embedded payment form and never pass through our servers.

4. Content and Streaming

All video content on the Service is owned by us or licensed to us. Your access is personal and non-commercial. You may not download, copy, redistribute, screen-record, or re-upload any video content from the Service. Streaming is delivered via Amazon CloudFront using short-lived signed cookies that authorise your browser session only.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
  • Scrape, crawl, or automate requests to the Service's API or pages.
  • Circumvent or disable any content-protection or authentication mechanism.
  • Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • Share your account credentials with others.

6. Advertising

The Service displays advertisements served by Google Ad Manager, including rewarded ads (which grant Coins on completion) and pre-roll ads before video playback. Ad content is determined by Google and is subject to Google's advertising policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@reelshowster.com. Upon termination, any unused Coins are forfeited unless applicable law requires otherwise.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] and its affiliates, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
